Bageshwar


    The holy town of Bageshwar is the place that can liberate one from the cycle of life
 and death as told in the puranas. The sacred temple of Baghnath, Lord Shiva attracts
devotees from far and wide. Especially on ‘Shivratri’ festival the rush has to be seen
to be believed. This beautiful town lies between the Gomati River and Saryu River.
The land attracts spiritual people like magnet owing to its mystical hills. Bageshwar not
only attracts the spiritual minds but also beauty lovers like trekkers alike. The place is
a trekker’s paradise which was pioneered by AdiShankaracharya who trekked through
these routes in 8 th century.Bageshwar is the entry point to trekking routes like Pindari,
Kafni and Sundrdunga glaciers.

Airport- Nearest being Pant Nagar 206 km.
Train- Kathgodam is 190 km far from Bageshwar.
Road-Taxis are available from Almora 90km, Nainital 137km and kathgodam 180km.

Kausauni

Kausani ,hill station is famous for its scenic beauty and the spectacular view of
 Himalayan peaks it provides. It serves as a window to the peaks of Himalayan
region like Nanda deviNandakot and Trishul. Situated at height of1890 mts
above the sea, this picturesque hill station is 50 km north of Almora. The town
is open for tourist all-round the year. The best time to visit this place is between
September and November.Kausauni is birth place to renowned poet Sumitra
Nandan Pant who praised this place immensely.The town is calm and serene
away from the rush that hill stations usually have. A walk down the dense forests
 is refreshing ,trekking can be fun here.

Train-Kathgodam 142km is the nearest railway station .
Road-Kausani is linked to major hill station by road.Delhi 430 km ,Almora 51

Pithoragarh-Uttarakhand


Pithoragarh lies in the eastern part of uttarakhand.This place oozes with natural beauty and serenity.The beautiful town is surrounded by dense forest and is located at a height of 1600 mts.During the regime of 
Chand dynasty in Kumaon it was a major role player in politics.Pithoragarh has Tibet on its northern part 
and Nepal on its east direction.Pithoragarh is also a starting point for pilgrims going to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
